West Side Cleveland FNB Needs YOU!

You can be an important part of what we do by helping and donating food, supplies, and money.

What we do

We cook up free vegan/vegetarian food to share with hungry folks in Market Square on Saturdays, as well as at various activist and community events around town. We find it appalling that even in a nation of plenty, people still go hungry, and this phenomenon is exacerbated by the capitalist perception that access to food is somehow a privilege. As we believe food is a human right, and not a privilege, we and fellow FNB'ers around the world circumvent that paradigm with mutual aid and solidarity to fight greed and negligence. Learn More...

How to get involved

We cook every saturday at noon at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 7708 Lake Avenue in Cleveland. Feel free to come by and help us cook and clean up after cooking. Then, join us at 5 pm in market square where we will be serving food. If you cant make it on Saturdays, you can still help us to glean resources, find donors, and organize benefits. We also serve at many activist and community events when we aren't at market square. Contact us or come to meetings for more information.

How to donate

If you would like to donate food, we would greatly appreciate it! We thrive on donations from local businesses and farmers, as well as kind hearted individuals. Fresh produce is always most important (read more about becoming a food donor). We also have a wish list of equipment, dry stock, spices, and serveware that we can always use. Lastly, cash donations help us when food donations are tight, when we need to get from place to place, when we need equipment and dry stock, and to help get the word out about what we do.
